Alan Godsave specializes in Tourism and Marketing subjects, plus he greatly enjoys the blend of current affairs that his World Geography & Economic Development module provides. These are all fast-moving subjects and he keeps them updated through his ongoing consultancy and training for multinational companies. Currently, much of this work is focused on improving the way in which these corporations communicate across many different cultures and languages, so the ethnic diversity in IBS is a familiar environment. Alan finds supervising MSc dissertations particularly rewarding, guiding the research process and encouraging students to maximise their potential. His interest in photography and film-making, whilst being an absorbing hobby, is also relevant for creating engaging content for the modules that he teaches.
