A placement* is a semester dedicated entirely to an internship at a company or organization – so that our students graduate from IBS not just with an excellent degree but also with tangible work experience earned from the job market.

No wonder that 70% of our graduates land great jobs usually within three months of graduation (22% within 6 months), manage to negotiate a very good salary and work in fields matching their qualifications and interests.

IBS encourages its students to secure an internship while at school and have an early start to their career. Students can do that typically in their third year of study by opting to go for a placement. Other options include participating in an Erasmus+ study abroad programme or taking up a CSR module.

Internships are typically arranged through the students themselves, but IBS’ Career Office provides a range of services to make the job hunt easier. IBS’ own career platform called TalentNet is an obvious choice for all current and former IBS students to browse through when looking for an internship or market entry position at one of IBS’ many strategic partners.

Up until now, IBS has managed to sign a strategic partnership with close to 80 corporate and organizational partners – all keen to employ highly educated and motivated talents with employability skills considered to be at a much higher level than those of their peers.

IBS’ renowned Upskill Programme allows for the assessment of the most important employability skills during the first semester so that these skills can be developed and advanced in subsequent years through differentiated teaching.
