A cooperation agreement between IBS and YIM was signed in 2011 to promote staff and student exchange opportunities.
The Yuzhny Insitute of Management prepares highly qualified students for the economy market all over the world. Successfully operating in the educational services market since 1993 has organically blended into the higher education system of Russia, and has gained wide public recognition.
YIM is the only university in the Krasnodar Territory whose educational programs are internationally accredited. Since 2002, has been a member of the European Council for Business Education (ESBO Brussels). The university through international accreditations (in 2004, 2007, 2011,2014, 2017) confirmed the compliance of academic business-oriented programs with European quality standards. In 2017, YIM received international accreditation of master's and bachelor's programs in economics and management and the MBA program “Master of Business Administration”.
