Bálint is teaching Security Policy and International Economics. He is currently pursuing his PhD at IBS, with a focus on Middle Eastern conflict and Iranian foreign policy.

In addition to his academic role, he works at Raiffeisen Bank Hungary as the head of the Collection Strategy Department, where he oversees system and process developments in the risk area.
