On September 17, 18 and 19, International Business School welcomed its new students with memorable Orientation Days, concluded by our annual Garden Party on Friday. The event provided the perfect opportunity for students to learn, connect, and celebrate the beginning of their university journey in a truly international atmosphere.
The morning was dedicated to a series of exciting and engaging workshops. New students took part in team-building activities such as the Spaghetti Challenge, puzzle solving, Activity, and a quiz, which encouraged creativity, collaboration, and plenty of laughter. Alongside these fun sessions, students also attended more formal workshops designed to equip them with valuable knowledge and skills. Topics included career building, the ethical use of artificial intelligence, and student wellbeing – areas essential to academic success and personal growth at IBS.

In the afternoon, the campus transformed into a lively festival space with a variety of food trucks offering cuisines from different countries, symbolizing the diverse and international spirit of our community. Students enjoyed delicious meals, refreshing drinks, and even ice cream, making the experience both enjoyable and culturally enriching.
With pleasant music playing in the background, students had the chance to socialize with their peers, get to know their groupmates, and form new friendships that will accompany them throughout their studies. The cheerful and relaxed atmosphere created the ideal setting to build connections and strengthen our community.

Overall, the Garden Party was a great success, setting the tone for the academic year ahead. It offered a balance of learning, fun, and cultural exchange – truly embodying what life at IBS is all about.
