Introducing the IBS Connect Podcast

Stories, Insights, and Inspiration from Our Global Community

We are excited to announce the launch of the official IBS Connect Podcast, a monthly series designed to bring our diverse, international community even closer together. Each episode opens a window into the real experiences, motivations, and ideas that shape life at IBS from student leaders and alumni innovators to dedicated faculty and management. Whether you’re a current student, a prospective applicant, a partner, or an alum, this podcast invites you to explore the people and perspectives behind our vibrant business school.

Our first episodes offer an inspiring journey through the many layers of the IBS experience. We begin in November by stepping into student life with Sundus Ahmed, one of our dynamic student club leaders who helps build community and international engagement through initiatives like embassy visits. Her episode takes listeners inside the world of student clubs, how they’re formed, how they grow, and how they create meaningful belonging for students far from home.

In December, we spotlight the impressive balancing act of Emna Mkaouar, a master’s student who is also a key regional recruitment partner for IBS across the MENA region. Emna shares what drives her professionally, how she manages her academic journey, and what makes her work both impactful and deeply rewarding.

January brings a creative shift as we explore the philosophy of teaching with Balázs Szigeti, our Deputy Head of the Education Centre. As an artist, director, and educator, Balázs reveals how blending multiple disciplines can build richer, more immersive learning experiences inside the classroom.

As the year unfolds, later episodes highlight the entrepreneurial energy of our alumni, give listeners a look inside the university incubator, and explore emerging markets, future skills, and the global trends that shape business. We’ll hear from IBS management about the vision that guides our institution, from finance and technology experts about the skills future employers will value, and from student leaders on managing ambition and wellbeing in an increasingly fast-paced world.

With each episode lasting up to 30 minutes and featuring authentic conversations with students, faculty, alumni, and partners, the IBS Podcast serves as a space for learning, connection, and inspiration. You’ll find the podcast on YouTube and LinkedIn in landscape format, with short, engaging clips shared across Instagram.

This podcast is more than a series — it’s a celebration of our community: bold, global, and always evolving. We can’t wait for you to tune in.
