Social responsibility is important for IBS: our private university strives to actively stand by those who are unfairly treated. With a view to recent international events, we place great emphasis on supporting our international students. Recently, the Taliban, who rule Afghanistan, banned women from the country’s universities. IBS not only condemns every inhuman and vicious act, but also offers Afghan women who apply to the institution a 25% discount on their tuition fees. The remaining tuition fee can be further supported with discounts through our academic scholarships available to all students. We are confident that our joint programmes with the University of Buckingham and the British and Hungarian degrees (at BSc, MSc, and PhD levels) awarded can help build a better future and more open societies in Afghanistan and in the 80-100 countries from which IBS students arrive.
