We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Visiting Lecturer - Business Intelligence module

Type of contract: part-time, fixed-term contract (February to July 2022)

Location: 1031 Budapest, Záhony utca 7, Graphisoft Park

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as module leader for the MBA Business Intelligence module (update course material, deliver classes and feedback on student work, complete the administration).
  • Deliver engaging classes for the above module.
  • Potentially act as dissertation supervisor for MBA students.

The module:

The key objective of this module is to provide students with a thorough understanding of business intelligence techniques and platforms. Students will learn about the fundamentals of data science – data collection, data export and import, data analysis and visualization. Students will gain practical experience in the use of a range of data analysis software – e.g. Microsoft Access and Tableau – to examine large sets of information. The goal is that they are able to perform an in-depth business intelligence analysis.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s level degree in any field (required).
  • Ability to teach in English (required).
  • Excellent knowledge of the basics of data science and its business uses; Microsoft Access (required); and Tableau (preferred).
  • Work experience in the profession (preferred).
  • Min. one year of teaching experience in higher/adult education or training (preferred).

Remuneration: Per class rate & module leader fee
