Júlia Király is a Professor of Finance and Monetary Economics. She started her career as a Research Economist at the Hungarian Statistical Office, before taking up a similar post at the National Planning Office. Between 2007-2013, she served as Deputy Governor responsible for financial stability at the Central Bank of Hungary. Prior to this, she was one of the owners and CEO of the ITCB Budapest, a well-known training and consulting company in the banking sector. Dr Király took part in the privatization of several Hungarian banks as a board member. She has several publications on monetary policy, banking, and finance. Since 1993, she has been a Visiting Professor of finance at Corvinus University, Budapest and Associate Professor at International Business School, Budapest. She is also a supervisor of doctoral students at IBS Budapest.
