In the Principles and Practices of Global Business MSc module, led by professor Bruce Hoggard, students examined a case study.

The larger topic of the class was globalization seen through comparing the market position, background, plans, growth, expanding strategies and options of Canadian coffee company Tim Hortons and its concurrent companies, Starbucks, Costa Café, Lavazza, among them.

Students could also taste freshly made Tim Hortons coffee, Professor Hoggard brought the coffee beans directly from Canada. Students also contributed to the success of the evening with cookies, some home made.
