“In 1999 I got my diploma at IBS in finance in English. The system was somewhat different back then, but what hasn’t changed is attending IBS was hip. I think that hasn’t changed.
When I finally left I knew the world was mine. “I am a business man, this is what you need”. And so I launched myself...
I first started working as a stock broker. I had sent my CV to 52 companies, and received maybe 2 replies, and an offer from one. The offer I got wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for. I was offered a position in sales, which was the lowest imaginable position at the company. I had to seek out and and get new clients at any price, there was no real business involved. I did this for one year. By the end I had reached my goal of being able to do real business and have one of the largest turnovers at the company.
After this year – having learned in school that it is not good to get stuck in one place, I spent eight years at Metro (it’s called Metropol nowadays). I started in regular sales (key account manager). I handled different ad agencies. I did my job, what I did I usually did well, and I feel like I always took on more than what was initially planned for me. There was a time when I was responsible for 70% of the revenue, in addition to the international cases. The time for change in management soon came, and I received an opportunity. I was the director of ads for the company for four years. During my tenure Metro became the largest income of all the printed press products available in the country. But the time for change arrived here as well..
Currently I am the managing director of the largest pharmacy digital signage company in the country, but as a proffesional investor I partook in the funding and development of the Funzine magazine, the building of an ad agency and I am currently developing a product in our training company. This building of the “1 life coaching center” which not only offers coaching services to business professionals but also makes these services available for people in the household sector, thus contributing to our society, helping bringing out the best value in people. www.1life.hu
In closing: the fact that IBS drives you to think freely, has helped me become brave enough to try myself in my own enterprises, and has significantly benefited me by allowing me to live my dreams”
