Annamária Szentes earned her MA degree in psychology in Eötvös Lóránd University, then a clinical child psychologist certification exam at University of Debrecen Faculty of Medicine. She gained her teaching and research experiences alongside clinical work at Semmelweis University 2nd Department of Pediatrics. She defended her PhD dissertation in the field of pediatric oncopsychology.

She currently works in private practice and teaches the "Psychology is Organisations” module at IBS.
